2011 British Enduro Championship - Round 1

Highlights from the MuntJac Enduro. Round 1 of the 2011 ACU Metzeler British Enduro Championship.

David Knight started the defence of his British Enduro title in perfect style with a faultless ride, dominating the event from start to finish.

Alex Rockwell came in 2nd, with Paul Edmondson completing the podium.

Amped's Simon Wakely came in a solid 5th and was unfortunate not to get on the podium, with only David Knight recording faster times overall in the special tests. Unfortunately due to his lowly start position of 20th, he would catch slower riders and waste time passing them resulting in 2 minute time penalties, which dropped him down to 5th.

Chris Dustow was also tackling his first event in the Championship class, coming home a respectable 22nd in what he knew was going to be a tough opening round.
