Volkl: Team trip to Japan 3

We bring you the third instalment of the Volkl Snowboards Team trip to Japan. Big fun and big riding kicks off as the team drop in on The Slope slopestyle contest. With compatriots Simon Schweiger and Loui Purucker leaving the trip early, Chris Kroell and Japan’s finest lay it down in style over some big ol’ kickers and tricked out rails. With some original obstacles to test their mettle, the guys go all out to style the slopes, training each other up, over and around the sculpted snow.

Sushi, sake and snowball fights are abound as we gain an insight into the full-bore lifestyle of the modern action sports athlete. These guys don’t do anything by halves, whether it’s shutting the park down with a backside 900, or shutting themselves down with sake and song.
