The Halfpipe Rookie Fest is ON
Day1: Training & Night Session
Riders from 8 nations landed in Monte Bondone, Trentino, Italy. Nederland, Austria, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Rumania, France, Italy and Chile are the national rookie teams for the first halfpipe event in the World Rokie Tour. With many side activities in the program, this event offers to all the partecipants a unique lifestyle and travel experience, to underline the World Rookie Tour philosophy: snowboarding is not just competing.
The trainings of day 1 inaugurate Monte Bondone halfpipe, builded in the last week mainly with artificial snow and with a big effort from the local shaper crew. After the trainings and a few hours of relax in the SPA, the partecipants took part in a walk in the wood with torches together with the world famouse "Black Yeti". Day1 ended in the snowpark for a night session with a suggestive view on the valley of Trento. During the session a Best Trick Rail Contest was organized and french rising star Boris Mouton resulted the winner.
