Josh Angulo Windsurfing Videos

Professional windsurfer Josh Angulo was born on December 12, 1974. Josh grew up surfing with his father, Ed, and 2 older brothers, Mark and Andy. When Josh was 6, Ed, who originally built surfboards, began crafting sailboards while Mark became well known on the professional windsurf scene. At age 10 the family moved to Maui, where Josh began windsurfing. At age 15 he signed his first professional contract.

In 2009, Josh Angulo was the Professional Windsurfers Association Wave World Champion. In that same year, Josh took first place in the Cabo Verde Wave Competition. In 2008, he took second place in the same competition, and in 2007, took first. In 2007, he took third place in the Portugal World Championship and World Wavesailing Competition. In 2006, he was the winner of the Aloha Classic Wave Competition.

Today, Josh Angulo resides in Cabo Verde with his wife and children. He runs his own windsurfing school, the Angulo Cabo Verde Windsurf Center and board shop. He is sponsored by Billabong, Cape Verde Development, Da Kine, MauiSails, and Streamlined.
