Windsurfer Nik Baker was born in Brighton, England on November 5, 1971. While he currently still lives in England, Nik also resides in Maui.

Nik Baker has been windsurfing for a number of years. It didn't hurt that his father owned a windsurf shop. That alone enabled Nik to pick up windsurfing at an early age by being exposed and having access to the sport. He first began windsurfing back in 1983 and has been doing it ever since. He has won a number of events throughout his lengthy and successful career. Nik Baker is a three time Vice Champion Overall and a six time World Champion Indoor and Current.

His endurance in the sport and successful career has allowed Nik to receive many sponsors. Some of his sponsors include North Sails, Adidas Sunglasses, Fanatic, Meanline Fins, and MPG. Nik Baker also has a beautiful family including his wife Michelle and his son Brandon.
