At age 25, Victor Fernandez Lopez has become a powerful wind surfer. Having started the sport when he was taught by his father at the age of 5, he has continued to improve his skill in his hometown in Spain. Known for his clean power moves, he has built up a formidable résumé. Since his debut in 2003, he has won several key competitions, such as the PWA Grand Slam Pozo, the Red Bull Topocalma Infernal Chile, and the NSP Soulfile Klittmoeller.

He has placed in other branches of the PWA competitions several times, such as Fuerteventura and Expression Session Costa Brava in 2004 and the Grand Slam Pozo Wave in 2006. His most recent triumphs include placing 6th in the overall PWA WAVE last year. His favourite manoeuvres include the Double Forward and 360 degrees in the wave and currently his sponsors include companies North Sails, Quiksilver, Fanatic, and MFC.
