Sarah Bibby and Stef Hilder take one 'zero' complete beginner Doug Reid to Llandegfedd resevoir for the 2012 Windsurf 4 Cancer Research Sunrise to Sunset event. The plan was to make him a hero in one day, getting him from zero to planing in one day...however, the wind wasn't playing ball so other challenges were invented... When all your friends are leaving for South Africa and Australia and you're stuck in high wind choppy spots it is easier to make yourself believe that you are having more fun and not checking their cool photos on facebook, than feeling miserable. Anyway sailing at my homespot is always nice especially when I borrow boards when I "forget" mine.. Thanks to Fotis I have some video and managed to make this clip. Thanx to... FunSports for.... everything!! and SecretSpot for the cool MFC Harness and jumping advice.
