It’s no secret that the Nitro Circus team are a talented lot. They roll out world’s firsts nearly every other week, and now Brandon Schmidt has just landed the legendary Aussie Roll – a double backflip 360 on a BMX.

You just have to take a look at the video above (and sit tight through a minute and a half of Trevor Jacob’s ridiculous skate/bike/skydiving skills) to see how awesome this trick is.

Australian rider Aaron Selway was the first to land the mad combo last year, hence the name, but now Brandon has stuck it as well, and he’s appropriately renamed the trick ‘The American Roll’. We’ll have to see what Aaron has to say about that…
