Crankworx Rotorua gets under way on Wednesday 25 March, and while it could be the coffee or the monster under our bed that’s been keeping us awake recently, we’re at least a little bit sure that it’s down to excitement.

New Zealand is prepped and raring to go now, with the Whip Off champs set to kick it all off on Wednesday, the Speed and Style set for Thursday, the Downhill on Friday, Enduro on Saturday and the big slopestyle showcase looming on Sunday at the end of the week.

Luckily, you don’t have to wait until then to get your first taste of the action. We’ve got a load of preview videos you can’t bite right into here... And damn do they taste sweet.

Downhill Preview

There’s been a lot of excitement about the downhill course to come at Crankworx Rotorua. With the Southern Hemisphere venue joining events in Les Deux Alpes and Whistler, the Crankworx downhill series now spans three races – and some are saying it could even rival the UCI’s World Cup in the next few years.

Some have said that this particular track doesn’t have the speed they were hoping for, others have said that they love it. Have a watch with Mick Hannah and let us know where you stand. He certainly doesn't look slow to us...

Enduro Preview

The first round of the 2015 Enduro World Series is basically here, and Sam Blenkinsop and Wyn Masters have given us a preview sweet enough to poison a coffee. The views are stunning, the track is stunning in every stage, and the race should be stunning as well.

It'll be great to see a full field back in action in the enduro, with the two featured riders joining Jared Graves, Jerome Clementz, Fabien Barel and plenty more in the big restart in Rotorua.

Slopestyle Preview

If there's one thing we're really looking forward to this weekend, it's seeing the slopestyle guys back in action. Brandon Semenuk, Brett Rheeder, Sam Pilgrim, Martin Soderstrom, the list could go on and on and on - but this is the first time the whole pack has been back together uninjured in some time.

We don't have a preview of the course yet, but this awesome Vital MTB interview photo montage with Kelly McGarry and Tom Hey - who have been charged with building the course - will give you a great idea of what to expect come Sunday.
