Flaviu Cernescu. Remember the name. Sure, he might sound like an obscure Premier League football player from the ’97/’98 season but Flaviu is actually a daredevil and parkour sensation from Romania. And, based entirely on the only video evidence we’ve seen of him, a seriously hardcore one at that.

For a video uploaded to his YouTube channel yesterday, Flaviu and a friend climbed to the top of a 256m (840ft) high chimney in Târgu Jiu and proceeded to lark about on it like they were in the park rather than at the top of a 256m high chimney. Flaviu walks the chimney’s diameter, via a rusty metal beam, he juggles, he takes his unicycle for a ride, and he casually dangles into the vertigo-inducing darkness below. Other than drive around in a car that’s far too small for him, he gives it the full circus clown treatment.
