A History of Track Cycling at the Olympic Games

It’s the marmite of the cycling world; whether to shave your legs or not. If you do it you love it, if you don’t do it, you think everyone who does should go cycle head first into a wall – albeit aerodynamically.

But whatever side of the argument you’re on, you’ll no doubt find the photo below from Imgur user 'Hyddrox' one of the most ridiculous things you’ve ever seen. It’s impossible to look at this photo and not react emotively in one way or another.

LOOK AT IT. HE OR SHE HAS GOT LEG HAIR FOR SHORTS. IT’S LEG HAIR BUT IT’S ALSO SHORTS. AHHHHH:

This is ridiculous. There’s no doubt that this is ridiculous. Even if you’re a die-hard leg shaver we refute any claims that this is not a ridiculous thing to do.

If you’re going to shave your legs, then go the whole way. You’ve surely got to shave the whole leg? Because WE CAN’T DEAL WITH THIS PHOTO.

The picture is called “How to make a pair of summer shorts", which would be great, but here at Mpora we’re a fan of shorts which cover the user’s genitals. Call us old fashioned.

“That looks just awful – for the sake of humanity shave it all"

It’s up for debate what gender the photographed offender is in the photo, with one user writing: “Spoiler alert. That’s not a dude" and another putting “As a woman, this is what my legs look like during my Spring shave", but we have to agree with the following user comment, which notes:

“That looks just awful – for the sake of humanity shave it all".

We’ll close this article, however, on the comment from the user who asked: “Is it weird as a girl to find hairy legs in a guy sexy?"

The answer is of course, no, it’s not weird to find hairy legs attractive. But it is at least slightly bizarre when they’re only half shaven.
