Meet Sergeant Stubs (or Ian Parkinson, as his mom calls him). He's a double lower-leg amputee, not to mention an absolute inspiration. He's been re-learning how to skateboard since loosing his legs. Not only that, but he's ben capturing his exploits on camera.

But this is no ordinary vanity edit. It's part of what Sergeant Stubs hopes becomes a regular 'how to' series, showing other amputees how do every day activities, but with prosthetic limbs or other medical devices.

It's believed that showing recent amputees that they can still partake in everyday activities can be an incredibly important part of their their recovery, so what Sergeant Stubbs is doing could be incredibly important indeed.
