Watch: These Pro Skaters Use A Scooter To Hit Up This Monster Quarter-Pipe
Finally! Proof that scooters aren't just for lonely old Mods
Scooters: They're so often the bastion of 40-somethings wearing Parka jackets and Paul Weller haircuts, riding around the menacing, rain-soaked cobbles of Stoke-on-Trent, shouting "BELLBOY" and just about anything.
But what happens if you give a scooter to a bunch of skateboarders? Happily, they don't get lost in some sort of bizarre, Quadrophenia-induced dress-up fantasy, preferring to get gnarly.
While shooting for the Girl x Chocolate colab film Pretty Sweet, this bunch of pro skaters camped out on this sketchy looking back street to get this incredible shot of the superbly named Raven Tershy (who sounds more like an Emo chocolate bar than a human person) gapping between a pair of twelve foot quarter pipes.
Tershy used the scooter to propel him towards the QP's at speed, launching himself not just to the lip of the ramp, but way above it, top-lining just shot of the roof of the adjacent two story building.
We would suggest that you don't try this at home, but if you happen to have a moody looking alley, a motorised scooter, a pair a massive quarter pipes, and a crew of pro skaters in your house then, please, be our guest. Just send us the footage, okay?
