Heart-Warming Campaign Launched To Help JP Auclair’s Girlfriend And Baby Son After His Tragic Death

Auclair Fund created to honour the legacy of freeskier killed in an avalanche

Last week, we heard the tragic news that freeskiers J.P Auclair, and Andreas Fransson were fatally caught in an avalanche while on a mountain on the Argentine-Chile boarder. As the news broke, reports came in that snowboarder Liz Daley had also lost her life in a separate avalanche in the Argentinian mountains.

Now, a fund has been set up to help support the memory and legacy of J.P Auclair. Alpine Initiatives, an organisation co-founded by Auclair to help bring awareness and funding to mountain communities, are the people behind the scheme. Money raised will be used to support Ingrid and Leo, the partner and young son of the freeskier.
