Does snowboarding in the desert sounds weird? Yes, of course it does. But that didn’t stop the Arbour snowboards guys heading out to Dubai to film an edit. This isn’t one of those strange sand boarding videos either.

The guys headed out to the squillion dollar Ski Dubai complex – a bit like our indoor snow domes, but with the kind of money thrown at it that a rich Middle Eastern country can afford.

There are five different slopes to choose from inside the big fridge but, as you can imagine, most of the time was spent at the freestyle area, where the guys got inverted off kickers, and super creative on the boxes, rails, and ledges.

Right at the time when every snowboarder on the planet appears to be riding the Stubai glacier in the alps, we kind of fancy booking some tickets to Dubai instead.
