Want to live off the grid? Now these awesome places are available to rent, you can!

Ever since Foster Huntington built his amazing treehouse in Portland, with its hot tub and high bridges, we’ve been dreaming of the treehouse lifestyle.

Obviously, most of us can’t pull a Foster and quit our jobs to go and build our own off the grid paradise, but that doesn’t mean we can’t stay anthem every now and again.

These treehouses are as spectacular as any you would see on Instagram, with one big difference. You can book them right now on AirBnb.

From the UK to Bali and America, these are the coolest treehouse holidays in the world!

Secluded Intown Treehouse

This whimsical treehouse is based in Atlanta and has one bedroom, with same for two people.

Rent the whole treehouse out for a week and you could spend you time between handing in the treetops and wandering through the forest towards the local town.

It was recently voted number one most wished after AirBnb property though, so yo better get those reservations in early!

Treehouse in a Natural Park

This little hut hangs in the treetops of Andalusia, Spain. The one bedroom property is perfect for two people to escape for a weekend.

The treehouse, as well as being an awesome hideaway, has a hanging bridge to get inside and amazing views over SNevada.

The hosts of this property say that they’re open either showing their guests around an spending time with them, or leaving them to their own devices in the mountains.

Rainforest Tree House With Hot Springs

Treehouse? Rainforest? Hot springs? ….This might just be the perfect getaway. Four guests can stay in this awesome house that holds two bedrooms and three beds.

More exciting than that however is the fact that the house itself sits in 35 acres of Costa Rican rainforests, with  24 hour access to the 12 natural hot and cool springs pools of various temperatures and rainforest trails.

Treehouse at Kilauea Volcano

Yep, you read that right, this treehouse is based at Volcano. The address on the site literally reads ‘Volcano, HI, United States‘. 

This awesome house, which is decorated amazingly on the inside too, sleeps two people in its one bedroom and is made by the creators of the TV show ‘Treehouse Masters.’

Sitting in the rainforest, views of the summit eruption are a five minute drive away. To see the rivers of lava, you drive into the park and down the mountain, so no stress of being in danger of a eruption mid holiday!

Tree Sparrow House, Cornwall

The people who rent out this little house in the trees focus on making magical holidays in Cornwall. As well as tree hoses they rent out caravans and fairytale cabins.

This treehouse has one bedroom and is right next to both rolling countryside and a sandy beach. The perfect place to disappear for the weekend!

Kealakekua Bay Bali Cottage

This is the perfect hideout for surfers on a honeymoon. Not only is it decorated perfectly and in one on the most beautiful countries in the world, it’s sat directly on the beach.

One bedroom and a whole hut to yourself? If anyone is looking for romantic holiday location, we think we’ve found one….

Fall asleep listening to the nearby waves crash, and awaken to the sound of birds. Surrounded by tropical landscape and pond. Magical!

Bensfield Treehouse

Finally, this treehouse in Surrey. It may look pretty basic from the outside, but wait till you see the interiors!

The studio sleeps two people and is situated in the middle of some awesome trails to get lost on during the day, before heading back to your rural palace.

Nice and close to the city, next time we have a spare weekend, we’re definitely going to consider booking a couple of nights here!
