A Day in the Life | This Feature on Avalanche Dogs Will Put a Huge Smile on Your Face

...because it's Monday and January and we just want to help

The world is a cruel place sometimes. Toast lands buttered side down. The TV remote is out of batteries and inexplicably stuck to your roof. The kettle takes freakin’ ages to boil and then breaks just before the water reaches the acceptable level for a good cup of tea.

But that’s why dogs exist. No, not to heat up water to the adequate temperature; to balance out everything that is wrong with the world. There are a lot of things wrong with the world, yes, but there are a lot of dogs too. And a cuddle from a dog is capable of fixing anything!

There are few better things than seeing a dog having fun up on the mountains – as long as it’s not unexpectedly become a trail hazard while you’re riding your mountain bike of course.

If you need further proof of this, just look at this dude and his husky having a great old time, these underwater dogs proving everything is right with the world and this trail dog showing man’s best friend can get on the right side of the bike as well.

That’s why we’re bringing you this video which explores a day in the lives of an avalanche dog at Telluride.

Because here at Mpora we know that everyone has their problems in life, but that we can probably take your mind off those problems by bombarding you with videos of dogs.

Warning: If you’re really hungover you may end up crying at this. It’s pretty freakin’ emotional. Not only are they super cute, they’re crucial to the search and rescue process!
