You may have heard about the recent snow storms that have laid siege to the East coast of the United Stated.

The snowfall and freezing temperatures created by the snappily named Storm Jonas have meant that NFL games have been canceled, cities have been shut down, the streets of new York turned into a ski and snowboard mecca, and a lot of lonely people started watching more online porn.

But it’s not just the land that’s been affected. The ocean has gone absolutely crazy. The autumn and winter months are famously the best for producing mouth-watering surf, but when you factor in the incredible storm that’s hit the coast, then you’ve got a recipe for something quite special.

And so it proved. The coast of Carolina produce some of the most incredible sets we’ve seen this year. And surfers Shane Burn, Dylan Kowalski, and Evan Barton couldn’t resit dipping their toe into the chilly water.

They donned their 12 foot thick wetsuits and jumped straight in, getting rewarded with barrel after barrel for their bravery. We hope they had the heaters on in their waiting cars after the session was done. If not, they’d be able to cut glass with their nipples.
