Bigger Than the X Games? Travis Pastrana’s New Show Looks Insane

You can watch the Nitro World Games LIVE on Mpora

The world of Action Sports as we know it is about to change. Just when you thought people throwing themselves around on boards and bikes has got as pant-filling as it can, a whole new universe of insanity is about to be unveiled. We give you, the Nitro World Games, live here on Mpora.

Back in the mid 1990, action sports broke free of the underground and was plastered all over our TV screens. A blur of lurid bright colours, high octane fun, and never seen before stunts was ours to behold.

A decade later, Nitro Circus burst onto the world, taking things higher, faster, gnarlier and, crucially, funnier than ever before. Led by FMX legend Travis Pastrana, Nitro Circus was – and remains today – a smash-mouth spectacular, showcasing the very best athletes action sports has to offer, serving up night after night of world firsts and never been done tricks.

But number 199 wasn’t done there. Oh no! Now Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew have taken action sports up a gear we didn’t even know it had: The Nitro  World Games, and you can watch it live with us right her at Mpora.

Get your alarm clocks out, because all the action kicks off here on Mpora at 2am on Sunday 17th July, being beamed from the Rice-Eccles stadium in salt lace City, Utah.

Sounds late? Fear not. The Nitro World Games are going to fill you with enough energy to power Wales for a fortnight. Grab a beer (or soft drink alternative), sit back, and brace yourself for the white-hot edge of action sports in a way you’ve never seen them before.

The very best BMX, Skateboard, FMX, Inline and Scoot athletes from around the world, including Josh Shehan, Pat Casey, Ryan Williams, Jake Brown and Mitchie Brusco, and going to lay everything they have on the line to bring you breathless action, Never been done tricks, and the kind of mayhem even hardened Nitro Circus fans wont have witnessed ever before.

Oh, and don’t just take our word for it. Along with Travis Pastrana and former pro snowboarder turned TV host Todd Richards hosting the games, there’s some dude called Tony Hawk who’s going to be in the commentary booth, bringing you unparalleled chat about everything going on.

Frankly, if you’re not already frothing at the gills, go and see a doctor. Nitro World Games is here, streaming live on Mpora and you are not going to want to miss it.
