Lee Valley Campsite is ideal if you want to pitch your tent near London. It's set in the middle of the River Lee Country Park - and it's only 30 minutes from central London by public transport.

There are dozens of caravan and tent pitch sites as well as wooden pods (or cocoons) and cabins to sleep in. Also there is 1,000 acres of traffic-free cycling and hiking trails to explore plus it's a great place for white water rafting.
