Helinox Chair One | Review
Helinox's Chair One is a purpose-built lightweight chair to take camping
When you’re out and about outdoors, there’s a lot to be said for being able to reach into your backpack and pull out something nice to sit on. With that in mind, we’re delighted to introduce you to the comfortable and lightweight Chair One from Helinox.
Weighing in at just 890g, and able to pack-down to a small and portable size, the chair is absolutely perfect for cycle tourers, campers, hikers, and general outdoor enthusiasts. And you can rest assured that you won’t be wrestling with a long sheet of instructions here as the product is laughably quick and easy to set up.
“It’s small, light and absolutely perfect for cycle tourers, campers, hikers, and general outdoor enthusiasts."
The frame of the chair is made by DAC, one of the world’s leading tent pole manufacturers, and can hold a load of 145kg (almost 23 stone in imperial measurements). Treated with an exclusive green anodizing process, that doesn’t require the use of toxic acids, the frame will preserve its appearance even after regular exposure to a variety of elements.
Easy to clean, easy to assemble, easy to transport; this chair, which scooped a number of significant outdoor industry awards in 2013, will be the friend you never knew you needed. Just try not to be too smug with your adventure companions when you’re sitting on your throne and they’re desperately struggling to build their own seat out of twigs, leaves, and mud.
