Here at Mpora, we've given Hoverboards (or Swegways, if you will) a lot of shit over the past 12 months. Fear not, that isn't about to change.
Conversely, we ruddy well love it when dare devils like Mustang Wanted and Brit James Kingston climb up unspeakably tall buildings and make videos of themselves arseing around on top for our viewing pleasure.
With this in mind, you'll appreciate how conflicted this video made us feel. Stuntman, Oleg Cricket - which sounds more like something the dinosaurs at Lords have dreamt up to sell willow on leather to the under 25 market than a person - takes his hoverboard to the top of an unnamed sky scraper and rolls around, just millimetres from both the edge, and certain death.
It's not the first time Mr Cricket - just take a second to bask in the splendour of that name. Go on, treat yourself...
It's not the first time Mr Cricket has risked his neck at the top of a building. He makes somewhat of a habit of it. Here is his jumping around the very edges of a sky scraper.
If you don't think that gnarly, seek urgent medical attention.
He's also, along with his buddies, scaled the 101 story, 414 metre high Princess tower in Dubai.
So, now they're in the hands of these extreme dare devils and risk takers, does this make Hoverboards cool? No. Of course it doesn't. In the same way as David Cameron enjoying the music of The Smiths doesn't make him a human capable of emotion and empathy, the association of a shit thing with a cool thing doesn't create some good-vibe osmosis, enhancing the credibility of the former.
