Granddad Builds His Grandchildren The Greatest Tree House Of All Time
Massachusetts Granddad bags himself a million man points with this amazing tree-top palace
We've all seen that advert for those toffees, where the granddad gives his grandchild a sweet, while reminiscing about how, when he was the kids age, his granddad gave him sweets as well. Given your perspective on sugar, it's either a heart-warming take of family tradition, or a vile window into a world of non-biological forced hereditary obesity.
Once upon as time, we thought it was the greatest gift a grandpa could give their little cherubs. However, a granddad from Attleboro, Massachusetts in the US has just given his grandkids the greatest tree house ever made. Kind of beats a toffee, right?
Most tree houses are little more than insect ridden, damp death traps. Not this beaut'. It's a 40 foot tall, three level masterpiece, built by Jay Hewitt.
“I had a treehouse when I was a kid, but it was basically a 4-by-8 sheet of plywood," said the 59 year old Contractor. “I never dreamed that a treehouse would be anything like this."
Although initially built for his grandchildren, Hewitt now intends to put the treetop masterpiece on the market. And if it doesn't get the price he wants, he'll simply expand it, adding a roof terrace, and start on making a complex of similar tree houses that will be joined by raised platforms.
We can honestly say, we've never wanted to be the grandchildren of a 59 year of Massachusetts man more than we do right now.
