How Do You ‘Warm Up’ For Setting Fire To Yourself And Jumping Off A Nine Story Building? Like This…

Our current favourite Russian madman is at it again

Earlier this year, we brought you the startling footage of Russian free runner, and all round nut Alexandr Chernikov setting himself ablaze and throwing himself of a nine story building into a tiny pile of now.

It’s a video that raises many, many questions. But one that didn’t cross our mind until now is how somebody trains for such a stunt.

Surely, just like with anything, there’s a degree of needing to walk before you can run. Maybe you just light your shoe laces and jump off the wall outside your house.

Well, it turns out, our pal Alexandr got his dropping chops honed by jumping off, what looks to be, a four story water tower into about two foot of snow. This time he appears to have left his lighter at home though, as he obviously saved the pyrotechnic part for the main event.

Needless to say, if you do happen to have a large water tower and a large pile of snow where you live, don’t try this at home. And if you really have to, A) don’t blame us if it goes horribly wrong, and B) make sure you get all the footage on camera, and send it to us.
