Places To Eat, Drink, And Party In Kitzbühel

Pictured: With live music aplenty, The Londoner is one of Kitzbuhel’s most famous nightlife spots.

Kitzbühel doesn’t just offer its visitors excellent ski facilities, it’s also an awesome destination for après skiing (much like Austria in general). If you’re looking to get drunk, eat great food, and have a good time in Kitzbuhel, here are some of the places that need to be on your radar – albeit for different reasons.

The Londoner

The Londoner is the ski town’s number one British pub. Established in 1976, it offers party-goers live music and DJ sets throughout the season.

Highways Music Bar

The Highways Music Bar is centrally located, near the main pedestrian street, and holds a variety of themed events throughout the season – including Ibiza evenings, and salsa parties.

Club Take Five

Club Take Five isn’t the cheapest option when it comes to the town’s night life, but that doesn’t stop it from being a seriously cool place to hang out. It’s been running for about 20 years, has three bars, one big VIP area, a varied selection of cocktails and resident DJs.

O’ Flannigans

No respectable town is complete without a first-rate Irish bar. Fortunately, for its thousands of annual visitors, Kitzbuhel is no exception. O’Flannigans is a place that offers everything you could ever want from an Irish bar – including pints of Guinness, pints of Magners, televised sport and a whole heap of good time vibes.

Streifalm

The Streifalm is situated on the lower slopes of the Hahnenkamm, making it a great place to stop off at on the way back to Kitzbuhel. If you want to watch dancing men in lederhosens, this is the establishment for you.

Barrique

Located next to the boathouse on Lake Schwarz, Barrique is a lovely location for a bar and restaurant. There’s an open fire here and the menu offers a large selection of pizzas, pasta dishes, risottos, steaks, a wines from around Austria. Worth a look, for sure.

Restaurant Centro

Restaurant Centro is a widely recommended cafe, bar, and restaurant specialising in Italian cuisine. Pizza, pasta, meat, and fish dishes are all available, and at prices that won’t empty your entire bank account. A word of warning: reservations aren’t possible at Centro, so make sure you time your moment to visit well.
