‘This Season Was Out To Get Me’ – The Untold Story Of Mark McMorris’ Olympic Struggle

The Canadian Olympic snowboarder reveals the difficult path to reaching the top

The third episode of Burton Presents, the epic web series from Big B, dropped earlier today. Each episode takes a look at one or two of the stars that are on the Burton team, and this latest one casts its focus on Canadian serial contest winner Mark McMorris.

“this edit is littered with hammers that’ll leave you moist”

McLovin’, as people who pretend to know him call him, has possibly the biggest trick-bag in modern snowboarding, so it’s no surprise that the edit is absolutely littered with hammers that will leave your leopard print jeans moist with happiness.

However, 2013/14 was a strange season for McMorris, that combined injury, incredible expectation, wins, loses, and an Olympic bronze medal, all of which are reflected in Burton Presents, making it one of the most insightful edits we’ve seen for some time.
