The iconic Christian Hosoi Hammerhead skateboard deck of the 80’s has been bought back to life, but this time the skater/board designer has swapped turf for surf.
Messing around with surfboard design is nothing new but this shape is.
Hand-carving two scaled-up 5 foot 5 inch boards, he gave them to pro surfers Benji Weatherly and Dylan Graves to test drive, and the results look pretty good!
Rumour has it they’ll be in full production before long so watch this space.
