Sick Of The Rain? This Sport Actually Gets Better When It Pours Down

Bavarian barrel riding at its best

Autumn, here in the UK is turning to winter and, in turn, the weather is turning to shit. Grey skies and rain are an everyday occurrence.

You may think that a downpour is fatal for action sports, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Over in Munich, Germany, a bit of the torrential stuff is actually a bonus. Rain makes the river that runs through the English Gardens swell massively which, in turn, creates this insane standing wave.

This footage was shot just a couple of days ago, following heavy rain in the area. How sick would it be if the Thames, Mersey, or Clyde did the same?
