While we may still be clinging on to summer, those of us who spend those warm evenings dreaming of snow covered mountains are already looking forward to winter.

Whether you ski or snowboard, the first real sign of the season getting underway is the annual Telegraph Ski And Snowboard show in London, and plans are already well underway for this years spectacular.

The four-day-long show will run from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th October, and promises to be bigger and better than ever. For a second year in a row, the show will be held at Battersea Park in London, bringing the mountains to the heart of the city.

As anybody that’s been to the show in previous years will tell you, it’s like visiting an Alpine village in full après swing, just with more places selling ski and snowboard gear, along with everything else you could possible want (and some things you didn’t know you want) for your upcoming winter season.

“Highlights include a 50-foot kicker dubbed Mount. Battersea, and the return of the Altitude Comedy Festival”

Activities throughout the weekend include the Travel Genius Bar, offering impartial advice to anybody looking to get away this winter, a massive 50-foot kicker dubbed Mount Battersea and rail on which top pro’s will be putting on a show during the weekend, and stalls from manufactures and ski resorts around the world ready and willing to help you get all you need for the snow season.

This year also sees the return of the Altitude Comedy Festival tent to the Ski and Snowboard show, as well as the Alpine Street Food stalls, ready to keep you fuelled throughout your time at the show.
