Aussie daredevil Robbie Maddison has just surfed one of the biggest, most dangerous waves on the planet… on his motorbike.

Stop. Just let that sink in for a second…

Known for doing insane, internet melting stunts on his bike, including the time he jumped off an Olympic ski jump on two wheels, Maddo developed a special kind of bike, and took it out onto the South Pacific to ride Teahupo’o, one of the most infamous waves on the planet.

Known by locals as Cho-po, Teahupo’o has earned a reputation of not only being one of the most difficult waves on Earth to ride, but it’s also one of the deadliest, having claimed the lives of five people since 2000.

As such, it was the obvious choice for the ballsiest man on two wheels to test out his specially adapted surf bike.

The only question remaining is, what’s next for Maddo. His is a glittering CV that includes jumping Tower Bridge in London, jumping onto, and then off the Las Vegas version of the Arc de arc de Triomphe, and speeding off an Olympic ski jump.

After adding walking on water (kind of) to the list, what’s left for the Aussie madman? We have no idea, but we’ve got a feeling we’re going to love finding out.
