This is quite genuinely one of the craziest things we’ve seen for some time. Russian free runner and all-round dare devil Alexandr Chernikov has a bit of a habit of doing dangerous things, high up buildings.

When he’s not flipping over walls, topless, he’s climbing abandoned tower blocks to reach snowy roof-tops and hanging off the side of speeding freight trains.

However, as if that’s not enough to spark his adrenaline, his latest stunt ups the ante significantly. He’s now climbed to the top of a nine story building and thrown himself off the roof. And to break his fall? What appears to be about two foot of snow.

That’s surely enough to freeze most people to the roof in fear. However, it’s still not gnarly enough our pal Al. Just to add a blazing cherry to the top, he set himself on fire just before the jump. Madness.

So, why did he do this? Well, we’d like to think it was taking a Pussy Riot style stand about something he desperately believes in. However, in reality we have absolutely no idea. The presence of police officers towards the end of the video suggest it’s probably not legal though.

Moreover, it’s certainly not safe. As Alexandr himself puts is: “WARNING Do not repeat!!! It is deadly – dangerous stunt!!!“
