This Guy Just High-Fived His Friend. While Flying Through The Air. At 150mph. Two Metres Above The Ground…

This must be the most dangerous high five ever...

Any kind of wingsuit flying is bloody impressive, but proximity flying – skimming as close as you can to ground or a cliff – requires particularly big bollocks.

Especially when you’re skimming as close as Nathan Jones here, who flies low enough to execute the first ever air to ground high five.

These dudes are clocking something like 150mph, just a few metres above the ground.

Because the cameraman Sam Hardy is travelling with Jones, you don’t really get a sense of how fast the guys are moving – until that foam hand explodes into a million pieces. These dudes are clocking something like 150mph a few metres above the ground.

There is literally no margin for error here – no wonder the guy holding the hand is scared!

Nathan Jones, an Aussie, did the stunt to raise money and awareness for the charity Project Base, which funds development projects in places like Ethiopia.
