How Good Is The iPhone Camera? All Of These Award Winning Photographs Were Taken Using Just That
The winners of the prestigious IPPAWARDS are announced
There’s nothing like a good camera, and specifically a good lens for producing good photography. But, much to the annoyance of our photog friends, many of us now have a pretty good camera in our pockets at all times.
The advances in smartphone technology means that most of us now have a bit of kit that produces the kind of results that photographers, even 10 years ago, would envy.
Don’t believe us? Check out the winners of the 2016 iPhone Photography Awards (or IPPAWARDS for short(ish)). Photographers from around the world submitted snaps to the awards, now in their ninth year.
There was a grand prize, won by China’s Siyuan Niu for his entry titled The Man And The Eagle (which kind of does exactly what it says on the tin).
There were 19 other category winners, with work on display from photographers from countries as far flung as Australia, Brazil, China, Chile, France, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Spain, the UAE and the United Kingdom.
