Photographs Of Abandoned Tanks And Military Vehicles In Europe, Asia, North America, And Antarctica

Nature is slowly swallowing up all of the world's discarded war machines.

Tank left abandoned – Shumshu, Russia.

Unfortunately, throughout our existence, humans have seemed completely incapable of going five minutes without breaking into some sort of war. These abandoned tanks, that can be found in pretty much every corner of the world, are a symbol of that and a solemn reminder of everything that went wrong in the 20th century.

Maybe it’s just us, but there’s something quite haunting and beautiful about the way that many of these tanks are getting swallowed back up by the environments that surround them. It’s as if nature itself is sticking up a middle finger at the whole concept of war by giving the rusty killing machines an overbearing hug.
