According to the Guinness World Record website, the tallest bicycle ever ridden measured 18.25ft and was piloted by Terry Goertzen in 2004.
Now we know that Goertzen’s record meant he had to ride in excess of 300 meters for his attempt to count, but this footage of Michael Mooney riding a monstrous 44 ft bike seems like it should blow the official record out of the water.
“This blows the official record out of the water.”
At four-and-a-half storeys high Mooney had to be tethered to a crane for his attempt, but it sure looks like riding from this angle, no matter how far he went.
What we wouldn’t give to see him slap on some pegs and session the nearest building like it was a regular grind box. Would that count as beating this for the World’s Highest Trick?
