Now, without wanting to state the obvious too much, it’s fair to say that ice can be quite a tricky little fella when it comes to providing grip. It’s not velcro, is it? Not exactly sticky toffee. In fact, if you were compiling all the things in the world more appropriate to go running on and/or bust out mad parkour skills on into a league table format we think ice would be right down in the relegation mix.

Try telling this to Jason Paul, though, and you’ll be met with only a fierce and fiery look of determination. Jason, of course, is no stranger to wowing the internet with his freerunning exploits but never before have his exploits involved such large quantities of ice.

For his latest video, entitled Freezerunning (clever), Jason travelled to the city of Harbin in China. Harbin is home to the world famous Ice and Snow Festival, and the iconic ‘Ice City’ that accompanies it. What he did while there, well…it’s made for one hell of a cool viewing experience. Put it like that.
