In a world dominated by double and triple corks, it’s hard to remember what a chilled out run looks like nowadays.
But at Winter X Games yesterday’s – one rider stood out from the spin-to-win crowd. Kiwi-born shredder Jossi Wells wasn’t actually competing, having missed out on an invite, but he was an alternate rider for the event, meaning he’d step in if any of the other riders were injured.
It’s one hell of a way to fly the flag for steeze over spinning.
Not that he was phased by his exclusion. In fact, he used it brilliantly, taking the opportunity to give the ultimate two-fingered salute to hucking with this smooth, stylish line… switch!
With only the occasional rail slide or shifty along the way to show off his silky skills and insane control, it’s one hell of a way to fly the flag for steeze over spinning.
Yeah son!
