BASE Jumping is always somewhat of a leap of faith, but this particular one takes that concept to a whole new level. American, Marshall Miller took to this tiny platform over a fog-drenched valley in Lauterbrennen, Switzerland.
Visibility must have been little over zero, so no matter how experienced a jumper is, or how recently they’ve hit the spot before, the risks of finding a rogue tree, boulder, or really agro mountain goat careering towards you at the last second are significantly increased.
Miller is no ordinary BASE Jumper though (even by the loft daredevil status that those guys already enjoy). He’s part of the prestigious GoPro Bomb Squad, world-class paraglider pilot, and PRO-rated skydiver.
Presumably his CV also says he can work well as part of a team, or as an individual.
