For a lot of people in the UK, last Friday’s solar eclipse was something of a damp squib.
Clouds rolled in overnight meaning that while a few people got decent photos, many of us looked up to an ordinary, overcast sky and saw nothing of note.
The resulting timelapse is nothing short of epic.
Thankfully, things were clearer at the Polish polar research station in Hornsund on the island of Spitzbergen, northern Norway.
Not only that, but someone had the presence of mind to keep the camera rolling. The resulting timelapse is nothing short of epic.
