It’s finally here. The moment you’ve all been waiting for… And no, we don’t mean the return of the downhill world cup. We mean the return of Claudio Caluori’s course previews in the run up to the downhill.
Obviously.
It’s been a dry few months without the squeals, shouts and terrible jokes of Claudio to look forward to on the weekends, but now our favourite personality is back to show us what’s in store as the world cup restarts in Lourdes, France this weekend.
It’s safe to say that it’s not going to be an easy ride for the world’s best. At times the course gets so rough that Claudio sounds like he’s been attacked by a swarm of bees, or worse yet, been confronted with the concept of Katie Hopkins.
Leading the way down though is French star Loic Bruni, and he absolutely flies through the course with little regard for either his own personal safety or Claudio’s ego.
It’s safe to say that it’s not going to be an easy ride for the world’s best this weekend…
Could Bruni be the one to watch this weekend then? Maybe it’ll be Sam Hill or Danny Hart on top after the near pedal-free run, or will World Champ Gee Atherton or World Cup winner Josh Bryceland bounce back in style and take the win?
The field is certainly stacked, so much so that there’s a whole handful of riders who could win without much surprise. It’s certainly shaping up to be a cracking weekend.
