This cliff jumping video is bending the needle of gnarliness. Nathan Roberts is the cliff diver who’s dropping in to the legendary Lynn Canyon in Vancouver, Canada.
What sets this insane video apart from many others we see is just how close Nathan gets to the rocks in the water. Judging by the footage, the room for error appears to be no more than a few centimetres. And error in this case would, at best, be severely mashed up bones.
Now, we’re not doctors, but we’re pretty sure mashed up bones are a bad thing.
And, just to add to the levels of nuttiness on display, these jumps all took place in June this year – a time when the water levels in the area were particularly low because there was less snow over winter, meaning less water in the valley below.
This, of course, ramps up the danger levels even more. So much so, in fact, that the people who made the edit warn ‘Do not attempt these jumps’. Yeah, we were probably going to give them a miss anyway.
