Skateboarding has been in fashion for a while now. And with such notoriety inevitably comes the production of overpriced skateboards designed not to be ridden but to be peddled to rich people as wall art.
Last year, Selfridges ran a Board Games campaign of skate/fashion collabs, which included a £9,470 deck by Rick Owens and the ridiculous boots on board offering above. Though they also built a free indoor skatepark as part of the campaign so it wasn’t all bad.
