This Insane Photo Was Just Taken in Florida… Seriously

But Here's Why It Isn’t Quite What It Seems

El Nino may be wreaking freaky weather patterns on the globe but this photo from Florida last week is one of the maddest we’ve seen so far. It looks like a car burrowed in a snowstorm, which would be the first time snow has hit the Sunshine State since the 1970s, but before you pack your boardbags and Mickey beanie it’s worth knowing that all is not what it seems…

The photos, reported by City Lab, actually show the results of a massive sand shift caused by gnarly waves and stormy weather in the south east of Pensacola on the Florida Panhandle.

Sandboarding sesh anyone?
