Skiers. You’ve got to love em’. For decades they arsed around on the snow, dressed like middle class pimps, laughing like horses, and burning pictures of the poor for fun.

Of course, then snowboarding came along, and skiers were confused. First of all they were baffled by it. Within a year they hated it. And, eventually, they started copying it.

They adopted the baddy clothes. They adopted not washing. They adopted trying to fit 84 people into a chalet bedroom designed for two. And, of course, they adopted the humble backflip. Or, at least they tried.

Thanks to the advent of action cams like GoPro’s, the internet if rich with videos of skiers attempting and failing to perform backflips. We’ve selected some of our favourites for you to enjoy and endure.

1) No Lip

“There’s no lip” comments this dude after burying his face deep into the snow following his failed backflip. Ironically, his own lips are starting to swell up just has he’s saying it.
