Watch: This Man Just Went Skydiving Without A Parachute And Survived

Unbelievably stupid or seriously rad? We just don't know.

Riddle me this, what do all skydiving-enthusiasts and movie-buffs have in common?  Answer: they all love, more than they love having fingers, that scene in Point Break where Keanu Reeves jump out of a moving plane without a parachute. If you’ve never seen it, it’s one of the greatest moments not just in cinematic history but in human history generally.

So, why exactly are we talking about Keanu Reeves? What’s brought on all this film nostalgia? Antti Pendikainen, over to you. Antti Pendikainen, you see, has jumped off a hot air balloon…without a parachute. Just take a moment to breathe in the sheer madness of that sentence you’ve read. Take a moment to breathe it in, reflect on it, and then watch this video of it happening. It’s the definition of insanity.

After watching this remarkable footage, we’re still not entirely sure if we should salute Antti Pendikainen for his bravery or lambast him for his sketchiness. We’ll probably spend most of today, tomorrow, and the rest of our lives making up our mind on that.

While you’re waiting for us to come to some sort of conclusion, why not check out the moment Keanu Reeves jumped his way into our hearts and minds. Like we’ve already said, it’s truly one of the best things that’s ever happened to the world.
