So, it turns out Oprah Winfrey loves a bit of skiing. The American media legend loves it so much, in fact, that she once said that “skiing is the next best thing to having wings.” Right on, Oprah. We couldn’t agree more.

This morning we discovered that the television personality has recently bought a home in the Colarado mountains (Telluride) for approximately $14,000,000. The new Oprah Winfrey residence has five bedrooms, and is 8,700 square foot of sheer luxury.

The house has a tree top observation deck, a wine cellar/mine with its own mining carts, and most amazingly of all…it has its own private funicular cable car that will take Oprah to the slopes whenever she wants.

We can’t afford this incredible crib, but we wish that we could.
