In recent years the web edit has become an art form of sorts. With everyone from 10 year old kids to the best in the business feeding the hungry beast that is the internet their very best 3 minute wonders.

In honour of this we have compiled a compilation of the most commendably composed web edits available on the internet today.

1) Lacon de Catalonia, Anti Media.

Holy cats you could watch this edit all day long and never get bored.  Superbly filmed, it captures Andreu’s fiery Catalan personality through his explosive style and versatility.

Shot in his private playground outside Barcelona it showcases Andreu’s moto influenced style and why he is one of the best freeride mountain bikers on the planet.

2) Lines of Lofoten, Anti Media.

Another heavy hitter from the Scandinavians, Line of Lofoten features mind bending scenery, incredible riding and 500 meter long cable cams.  Well worth 9 minutes of your life.

3) Day in the life of Brandon Semenuk, Coastal Crew.

The delicate genius doing his thing at home. Brandon is a man of few words, he’s a man that lets his actions do the talking for him. The Coastal Crew do a great job giving the world a look into his day to day life.

4) Road Bike Party 1 and 2, Martyn Ashton.

Martyn Ashton is a trials hero, a man that adorned the pages of many a mountain bike magazine and poster. Road bike party 1 was such a viral hit that he decided to do a sequel but was tragically paralysed half way through filming it. The film was finished however, with a little help from his friends.

5) Five, Chris Akrigg.

Chris is one talented chap as you saw in the previous edit, here he showcases his versatility in a bloody brilliant edit shot by Victor Lucas.

6) The Spirit of Enduro, Eddie Masters.

With Enduro, a.k.a Mountain Biking, blowing up it was time that someone took the piss out of it and who better than kiwi wild man Eddie Masters.  Those jumps he’s hitting in flip flops are not small either!

7) An Ending, Dan Barham.

Every mountain biker knows that feeling, when the leaves fall from the trees and the dust on the trails turns to mud.  Then the snow falls and it’s all over.  Dan Barham captures Dylan Sherrards final 24hrs of summer before the snow closes in and it’s lost until spring.

8) Winter Trails with Matt Hunter, Silvia

For some the winter months mean getting locking the bike away and indulging in other, more wintery, activities but not for Matt Hunter.  With the aid of some one inch screws he can shred all winter long.

9) Graham Agassiz Profile, Sherpas Cinema.

Graham Agassiz, helicopters, big mountain lines, shot by award winning film makers Sherpa’s Cinema, this edit is a visual feast of mountain biking in the mountains.

10) Wink Grant ‘Insight’, Rupert Walker

Perfect and different and inspiring and great music and makes you want to ride and just really, really good.  This film by Rupert Walker is a great display of how to think differently and create something unique.
