Remember school? Remember how crazy it used to be? Remember the coin-flicking game known as blood knuckles? Remember trying to get your head round algebra after necking down two bags of Skittles? Remember that kid in your year group, the one with death behind the eyes, who terrorised PE teachers by hurling hockey sticks at them? Crazy days, without a doubt.

However, when lined up next to this shocking leopard-attack incident at a school in the Indian city of Bangalore even your wackiest memories of school start to look pretty tame. The leopard, which injured six of the people attempting to capture it, entered the Vibgyor International School on Sunday. It took 10 hours to corner, and then tranquillise the animal. The frightening footage shows precisely how ferocious big cats, and predatory animals in general, can be when they feel threatened.

A forestry employee, a TV camera man and a scientist were among those hurt, although we're happy to report that the injuries sustained were only minor.
