What would you do if a snake was attacking your home and wanted to eat your children? You’d fight it off, right?
Well, that’s exactly what Dottie the Barn Owl did when a Texas rat snake tried to sneak his way into their bedroom.
Dottie and her three owlets (who were just a few days old at the time) are wild birds and live in a bird box provided by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Texas.

This footage was captured on infrared camera, which live streams videos from the bird boxes to help educate the public about these animals.
