Sometimes we see things that are so unbelievably disgusting it actually makes us want to throw up on ourselves. This horrifically hypnotic video of a monster leech swallowing a giant worm is one of those things. The footage is taken from the BBC’s Wonders of the Monsoon, and it’s some vomit inducing stuff…that’s for sure.

The blue worm is about 70cm long but the red leech doesn’t even think twice about gobbling it down. There’s a brief moment where the worm panics a bit, a moment where he’s probably thinking something along the lines of “oh shit bags! I’m getting eaten by a leech,” but it’s all too little too late. The struggle is brief and, as the audio states, “the leech sucks its prey down like spaghetti.”
